CPA, Managing Partner
Dan is a highly accomplished and results-oriented CPA with 30 years of service to his clients. After serving as a full-service tax and audit partner for over 10 years and several years on the Management Committee at Hertzbach and Company, he helped navigate his firm through a merger with BDO USA, the sixth largest firm in the country, and subsequently led the Baltimore office.

With construction contractors, Dan and the firm focus on the specialized financial and tax reporting which is sought out by sureties and bonding agents. Dan’s experience with Government Contractors is similarly lengthy, with client services including FAR compliance, DCAA audit representation, and indirect rate calculations and analysis dating back to 1999.
After almost five years with BDO, Dan launched his new boutique firm, Acclare Solutions, focusing on personalized client service and adding several seasoned and skilled professionals, all focused on superior quality. Dan, and now Acclare Solutions, have been active members within the BDO Alliance since 2010. Dan’s depth and breadth of experience, connections to a robust group of skilled business professionals, and reputation for quality and expertise, has made him a sought advisor to his tax and audit clients.
